I finally got around to watching this one. Putting aside all the other horrible inclusions in this film, did anyone catch Nightwing’s anti-Semitic remark?
Early in the film, when’s looking for Harley on the street, he interviews an annoying couple that are clearly meant to be Jewish–with stereotypical vocal registers and references to Miami, etc. The couple says they’re on their way to a deli.
In the very next scene, Nightwing says to himself, “I could use a sandwich too. With extra kraut.”
WTF?!?! Is this a Holocaust allusion??
EDIT: (He seems to be saying that the previous conversation was too Jewy and he needs the opposite.)
