With the BB finale in mind, Skylar tells Walt not to bullshit her anymore and to stop saying all his actions over the course of the show were for the betterment of his family and to say it was deep down a selfish act that was truly for himself.
In the Batman mythos, after all the tragedy that spawned from his, in my opinion, selfish coping mechanism to use his fortune to battle criminals on a relatively small scale rather than being used to influence a large scale betterment of society from the top down rather than from the bottom up. In the end, who would have had the Skylar conversation with Bruce to tell him to take responsibility and say it was all for himself?
